How do you know if your rotors are warped?
I changed my rear brakes this weekend and had the rotors resurfaced by a machine shop but now that everything is back together I get the feeling that the rotors may be warped. When I first did the change, I spun the rear tires while the back end was off the ground and could hear the pads rubbing against the rotors in spots. I'm not sure if this is normal, something with the pads or something with the rotors. It also feels like the brake pedal may be pulsating a bit when I hit the brakes. Thanks for the feedback!
Jeff's edit: don't do this
get in your car.. get the speedo up to 120 mph.. just before you get up to traffic.. if your max use to stop 120 feet with good rotors.. just before you get 120 feet before traffic.. slam on the brakes.. if you crash.. then your rotors are warped.. if not.. you are fine..

its wrapped once you feel that pulsing. Either take it back to the shop and have them resurface or buy new rotors. Now resurfacing is the inexpensive way but they tend to Squeak for a while until they work in and on the other hand new rotor is always a plus but it will cost u. just my 2 cents
It sounds like the shop didn't chock them up properly in the cutting machine and ended up cutting them wrong. I would take them back, explain the situation and have them measure the run-out. You should at least get them to re-cut them for free. New rotors at no charge would be better.
