to people who had there MAF replaced

have you guys blown your MAF for a second time or is it a one time deal thing? im askin this because i had mine replace and i want to get a intake but dont want to fix my maf again cause my warrwntee is over.

15k miles and still running strong after the MAF went bad. It went bad with a stock intake. I am running Frankencar now but run the flex hose to the throttlebody and a secure mount at the strut. The MAF is installed vertically how it should, not horizontal.

Stay away from those aftermarket intakes or you'll be replacing another one , sooner or later!

Actually, considering it *seems* that the cause for the failure is the sensitivity of the MAF from the oil on the K&N's/MF then chances are you'll experience it sooner or later as well
