Clarion CD Changer "Errrrrrr" Msg..

A few times I received the "Errr" message and fooled with the magazine, then it was OK. But not any more. No matter what I do I get the Err message and can't use it.

It's Clarion Model #2081U.

Any idea what is wrong? Do I have to buy a new one? May not be worth it since I still have the singe in the Bose.

Thanks for any help........................Jim

they all do that after some time. Mine did so I stopped using it for a month or so. Started using it again and works fine even with CDR's. I got used to it, my friends would laugh that it would just stop working in the middle of a song and the "err" message came on. Now they call my BOSE a " homosexual pirate" (err)...

It may not be the same problem , but I got the same "type" of error on my JVC, it turn out to be the screws that hold the unit are too long and somehow prevent the "tray" inside the unit to move...

I just went to my garage with flashlight in hand. Unfortunately that's not the problem. But thanks for the thought.
