Anyone runing KYB-AGX s with H&R springs?

I was wondering if any of you have KYB-AGXs and H&R sport springs on your Maximas. I'm looking for something that won't lower my max too much and I'm looking to make the ride stiffer... but nothing that will bounce like hell. How do you like the ride?... any suggestions? Thats for the input.

Lot's of people are... and it sounds like thats exactly what you are looking for. Although, you might consider Maxspeeds. A similar spring that has more drop up front and costs less. Either way you should be happy.

Do a search on both and you'll find plenty of info.

that's the set up I'm planning on too. By the research I've done, it won't be too harsh a ride, but will still improve performance a lot.
I have a friend with Tokico shocks and Eibach springs and he says he bottoms out with them quite often.

I have that setup, it's a little rough at times, but not too bad, really depends on how you set the AGX, plus make sure you cut the bumpstop, I haven't done that yet...

I have this setup. I don't think I cut my bumpstops either...

Anyway, its such a great ride, sure beats stock springs with AGXs in terms of stability and ride quality, and I'm running 17' wheels with some very harsh Pontenza RE730s.

H&R + AGX = One he11 of a nice ride on the highway. The Germans know their stuff. The faster you go with these springs, the smoother the ride.

if anything the bumpstop should be replaced by a shorter one, which is made a little firmer...you wouldnt cut your springs would you? this is kinda the same situation.

search is your friend.

I had this combo with stock wheels, and I thought it was too soft. B&G are much more advanced. Of course if H&R made stage 4 springs for the Maxima then I'd go back.

I chose KYB-AGXs and H&Rs for the vary same reasons. Very good setup in my opinion. I have a 96 GLE with 16's so it was big improvement over stock. Consider getting a RSB as well. That's next on my list.

i'm getting this combo soon

i'm very optimistic about it, seems like the best thing to get for NYC pothole ridden streets.

BTW, I just can't see how Maxspeeds are lower...
I have yet to see a pic of a max with Maxspeeds that looks lower than H&Rs.. the drop seems to be like 1.2-1.3" despite the advertised 1.3-1.6

If you are looking for a min amount of lowering go with Suspension Techniques. Lower 1.3" all around...but the are stiff like Eibach.

I have the same set up w/ my 99 SE-L and I love it. I really don't stray from the factory setting of 2 in the front and 4 in the rear, even w/ a full load of people. Nice stiff, but not too noticable ride, and smooth on the highway.

Best bang for the buck, IMHO. Go for it man! You won't be sorry. You really should get the FSTB with it though... it's VERY important.
