anyone riding on cut springs?

I was thinking about cutting my stock springs until I can afford new struts/springs. Has anyone else done this? How did you do it, and do you like it? Any help would be appreciated.

unless you want your max and it's springs to bounce bounce, squosh squoosh, twist, snap and crash, I wouldn't recommened cutting the stock spring. It could lead to premature failure of your suspension.
