Ok I have had my kenwood CD player for about 2 years now and all of a sudden the power in the radio blanks in and out. When I take out my deck and unplugged the power wirer or I move the wire around it comes back on.
I want to know if there is a short in the wire or is the radio going bad?

 

sound like a bad or loose connection. I would check the harness and see if they are making good connection

 

which method did you use to connect the cd player to the harness
(crimp, solder, tape???) hopefully not tape. I had a buddy of mine twisted electrical tape around the connections. He wondered why it sometimes didn't work...duh...
