What was the "Official name" for the burgundy color in the 1989 Max's

I want to paint the grill but was wondering what the actual name of the color was for the burgundy color 89 max's. Also if somebody has done the grill repaint on their burgundy with a wal-mart spraypaint please tell me which one worked best.

It's called Ruby Pearl.

good luck finding similar stuff at wal-mart.

You may check in the Dupli-Color brand stuff to see if there's one similar to it, but I dunno if you'll find one close.

Try going to PaintScratch.com, I know they have Ruby Pearl because I looked into getting it for my '96. I haven't ordered it yet, so I don't know how good their product is.
