A few Place Racing CAI install tips

Did my first mod to the Max last night, my Place Racing CAI.

First off, these instructions are alot more thourough and easier to read then the ones Place gives you.

http://www.brian1.net/maxima/gen4_ca..._gen4_rev2.htm

One of the main problems I had with both instructions is when to reinstall the left most (thin) fuse box. For the life of me, after installing the lower tube, I could not get the fuse box reinstalled. The easier way is to replace the fuse box after the hole is drilled, then run the lower tube.

The fit and finish of the piece is good, everything lined up real nice. Total install two hours.

The sound is pretty nice to over 3k RPM.

Congrats on the install. I just did mine last Sunday. You have to play with the tubing a bit and align the connections so that the piping fits perfectly under the fusebox. That was the most time consuming part.
