EURO clear AKA diamond cut look the best over all on all 4th gens including the 95/96.............alot of people claim that the regular clear ones match the 95 glass headlights better, but when you look at them from the side, the corner is way too foggy.

That's right, I got my diamond cut stolen and bought regular ones (supposedly) but I can't tell the difference, they're not foggy at all. I got'em at procarparts.com.

if you have a dark car, go regular. I love the way the white of the regular contrasts against a dark car. If you have a beige or silver or white max, go diamond cut.

95-96 max with stock lenses = regular clear bumper lenses
95-96 max with 97+ headlights/corner lenses(ME) = euro bumper lenses
97-99 max = euro bumper lenses

Well seeing you have a '99, alsost everybody (except for those like Clee) will recommend getting the diamond-cut ones. However I think the diamond-cuts look better even on '95-'96s.

Lenses on White Car

Not to steal the original question, but instead of re-posting I was wondering what everyone thought for a 98 White Max...euro or regular clear lenses?

whatever clears u get, please please please get orange bulbs! white/blue/hyperwhite turns signals are difficult to see in bright sunlight (same goes for taillights)

Yes. And there was one instance where a theif could not steal the diamond clears and keyed up a member's car.

I've had it with some Max owners . . .

. . . that steal your stuff. Back in '97, bought the (original 'foggy' $79) clears, and had 'em stolen TWICE. Then I did the bolt-instead-of-push-on-stud, and they lasted for 5 years. Then I took 'em off to replace 'em with Diamond-Cut, DIDN'T put the bolt thing, and promptly had 'em stolen within a week. Bought another set from Alex, put 'em on WITH BOLT, someone got pizzed that they wouldn't come off, and broke them!!! I mean scratched up the bumper and severely marred the lenses.

Took 'em off, put the 'old' foggy style on, and have been fine. I work at a mall, and it surprises me with all the traffic that someone(s) can be so bold. And yes, I've cruised the mall parking lot for the culprit Max (God help him/her).

Two things:
My car isn't even that 'fixed up,' simply lowered, shaved, 17's.
AND ONLY ANOTHER MAX OWNER WOULD DO THIS!!! !!! !!!

Venting . . . venting . . . sorry

I have blue/white bulbs on the sides and amber bulbs in the front for turn signals. Makes the turn signals easier to see for oncoming traffic.

I just popped my regular clears in. No bolts or anything. Park in NYC and outlying malls all the time. Never had em stolen.

I have diamond cuts too. I'm in nyc all the time and I've never had em stolen. But they only cost me $25 anyway.
