Any of you know how many gallons the tank holds. i have a 95 gxe. i ran it once until the low fuel light came on, i drove about 5 miles with that light on until my car began to sputter, luckily i was near a gas station. it filled up with about 17.5 gallons

I believe it is 18.5 gallons. My car will usually start cutting out in third gear at WOT when I have about two gallons of gas left

It's 18.5 gallons, like your owners manual says. I've never had problems with low gas levels (light on) until one time I was WOT and the car began to cut out intermittently. I thought well, time to fillup. It never happened since.

I had my gas light on for a while - didn't notice it because it was a sunny day and the light is too dim. Car stater to sputter, so I rolled down the hill to the next gas station. Put 18.2 gallons in.

I need a brighter low fuel level light!!

The fuel warning light comes on when there is approximately 3 gallons left in the tank.

Damn, I can imagine your feul pump was licking, no scraping droplets off the bottom of the tank to keep things going
