reinstalling factory head unit
reinstalling factory head unit
I went to install a factory head unit into my car , But the previous
owner cut the round 5 pin speaker wire along with the antenna ... Can i buy these two connecters at radio shack? Or do i need to hit a junkyard ...If you can buy them what are they called ?

The round five pin din plug is for the CD player. Later head units (93 up?) have an eight pin plug.
The speaker wiring is part of the two plugs that go into the radio.
You might be able to find the connectors in auto parts stores that carry these for different cars.
You'll also have to get the wiring info from a service manual.
The junk yard might be your best bet for an antenna connector as they are a different size than the typical american car.
