I need some input and advice on installing an alternator on an 89. Never done it before, could use some pointers from and experienced individual. Tools, torque, other? Thanks for your help.

Bryan has an excellent tutorial on how to change an alternator. It is written very well, with pictures and even gives you a list of required tools, http://members.csinet.net/tisch/maxima/ You can find other tutorials like it in the FAQ Section. And just a tip, in order to avoid getting flamed, you should use the search function. This question has been asked multiple times.

 

Thanks for the help, I actually did a search on google and got the same tutorial but thanks for the link it should come in handy down the road. I did a search on here and didn't look quite hard enough it seems. Thanks again.
