1st & 2nd MEVI GD (IanS): Who wants covers?

Is anybody in the 1st & 2nd MEVI GD by IanS interested in getting the cover?

If there is enough interest, maybe I can get Cranman to order them for us and we can save some $$ on shipping.

If interested, please post here, and I'll see what we can put together.

Thanks.

I'll be working on getting as many solenoids as I can next Saturday.

I'll just give them away if they don't cost too much. Seeing as I got mine for $2.50, and assuming the place I got it from has many more (I think they had 4 Pulsars last time I looked), I may be able to send them out with the MEVI's.

I'll post on my thread if so.

That would be awesome. Especially since the one pulsar in the junkyard near me in under 5 other cars.

Well, there's 3 of them attached to the airbox on each Pulsar, so I just need to find 3 cars.

I can tell you the cover itself is roughly $50. The kicker is going to be the freight. If you were to order the cover on your own, it would run you about $100 total including freight from overseas.

The freight cost is why I am trying to put this together.

The freight cost to the U.S. will be divided evenly among those who are buying. So theoretically, if we buy 10, you can get a cover to the U.S. for $55. And then it will probably be another $7 or $8 to reship it to your house.

Bottom line is, buy doing this you could save roughly $30 - $40.

I won't know exact dollar amounts until I talk to Cranman. Right now I just want to know who wants one. The more we get, the more we will save (to a point). Once I get a count, and talk to Cranman, I will let everyone know how much the covers are and we'll go from there.

The plan is to have a total count by Monday night.

Capice?

AS I understand shipping, 10 covers will weigh considerably more than 1. Therefore, I think shipping costs won't be $55 each, but probably more like $65. (+ shipping costs domestically) Still, that's a $35-$40 savings.

Well worth all of us doing it together still, of course.

This would be cool since it makes it look much more nicer, organized and stock. Very nice thing to setup.

Update

Ok, here's the skinny:

It will take 4 to 7 weeks to get the covers to me.

The total for all 9 covers is $603 (that's $67 per cover).

I need a $30 deposit from each person listed:

1. IanS
2. Prodeje79
3. JustMaxin96
4. Mrb23
5. dafro
6. sudz
7. ants97se
8. lowfunds69

I will fund the difference for now.

Once I receive the covers, I will repack and ship them to each of you.

At that time, I will ask for your shipping address and for the remaining amount owed + shipping from me to you.

I will take Paypal or a money order/cashier's check.

If you use Paypal, please add $3 (total of $33).

E-mail me through this board for my payment address or Paypal ID. I don't want to advertise it here.

If you are not going to order, let me know that as well. This deal was put together based on 9 covers.

Keep in mind, the faster I get the deposits, the faster I can order, the faster WE can get OUR covers.

Thanks.
