Metallic Substrate Catalytic Converter???

Anyone got a Metallic Substrate Catalytic Converter from warpspeed? Is it better than the Random Technology cat converter. I live in KY so im not really worried about emmisions. I dont want a straight pipe cause I heard that it was really loud. So im either gonna go with this or the random tech. A dyno chart would be excellent, but id like to hear some reviews. I searched and there was one guy saying he talked to Dallas at warpspeed and he said it warmed up the car faster.

you could also go with a high-flow carsound cat. it is a universal pc and should be installed by a shop. it is epa & carb approved. most ppl with max use the 2.5" cat but if you need it bigger i can get a 3".

i think warpspeed has them to, i don't know how much they get for it. i sell them for $97 with shipping & insurance.

they are back-up by magnaflow performance mufflers.

i have sold many to civics, accords, maximas and fords and never got 1 back yet. call warpspeed to see if they have them.

Warpspeed has the Carsound cats, but they also come with flanges so they are bolt on rather than weld on. I saw the Substrate Cat, but it's still kinda pricey. I may do a cat sometime, and if I do that's the one I would pick. I believe Warpspeed has some info on their site as well about the substrate.

the carsound cat that has the flanges is a regular replacement for your car (like oem).

the universal pc is the high-flow cat (for high-peformance cars). most ppl don't know that.

did you see a price?

High-Flow Carsound Catalytic Converter
2.5" OD Inlet/Outlet with welded flanges for bolt on install.

High Flow Catco Catalytic Converters
Regular
$100.00
Special Price
$90.00

This is the high flow cat with flanges welded on by Warpspeed from what I can tell. That's why I alluded to it in my previous post.

They did..they also have CATCO with flanges for $90 bucks..very good deal since it's direct bolt-on.

Same with the new metallic substrate Cat,,they welded on the flanges for bolt-on installation.

i will be going with the carsound cat soon.

not to far from me is a shop that will put 1 flange on the cat that will bolt on to the y-pipe then they weld the other side to the pipe (making it a 1 pc). you can pick what size pipe you want 2", 2 1/4" or 2.5"

i just need to find a nice muffler that will not give me that huuuuummmmmmmmm in the car when driving 65mph. i have 2 kids (1 is only 5months old).
