You can go as low as you want. By the way, for everyone that is wondering, my sig pic was made off of Photoshop. I only lowered my car 2" with the Intrax springs. To get that slammed look, you can coils off of the springs(dont recommend doing this at all) or even go to a air bag system where you would have to put an air compressor in the back. A couple of my friends have bags and their cars can lay frame in the fully deflated position---one guy can even control the air compressor via alarm remote! If you have the money and dont care about the life of your car, you can do whatever you want.

why slammed?? airbags are the only real driveable way to go but for the ride and $$$ its not worth it.

i say go for the Intrax, but be prepaired to hit your head on the ceiling from all the bouncing around you will do.

I got Ground Control coilovers on my car lowered all the way. its about a 3" drop on stock struts. I am a big dude (6 foot 7) and i dont hit my head on the bumps. the ride quality is noticably decreased but i would like to see any other car take a nasty turn at high speeds like i do

Correction, I have the Intrax springs and it lowered my car 2" if not a couple more mm. All other people that I have talked to who have the Intrax springs noted a two inch drop as well. The springs are pretty stiff and you do bounce a little, but that is a lot of fun.---Maybe that is just because I am 19 and crazy!

3" drop

Does your friends car bounce on bumps or is just slightly noticeable.

I just went from Intrax to Ground Controls. My intrax was a 2" drop, they say 1.75", but after everything settles, it's 2". The ride on the intrax isn't that bad. If you think Intrax are bad, try riding in my car now with the Ground Controls and Tokicos. It's not that bouncy, but it's very rough. Car probably handles worse now on rough roads since there is no shock absorption. On smooth roads, it's better because body roll is decreased, but if the road is rough, handling goes to hell. Feels like the car is skipping over the road.

Seeing that picture makes me think of the Old Town Cars and Continentals with the busted air suspensions that look like they need new springs :boink:

I thought about car lowering last WED when we got 14" of snow. It'd be pretty funny trying to "plow" that snow off the street while driving. If I'd ever lower a car, I'd HAVE to have like air or hydrolics so I can get up to stock height while driving. Just ain't gonna cut it for these midwest winters any other way.
