How hard to install y-pipes?

is there any write-ups or some installation pics for putting the y pipe on?? if no, how hard is it to install? anyone did it urself?

You better have an air compressor or 2 bottles of steriods to get the old one off!!!! Other than that simple bolt on install.

Well for 2002 it's different unless you do what I did(Put a 2K pipe on).


It's very easy to do if you have basic hand tools. A braker bar will make the bolts come right off.

I just installed WarpSpeed's new Y & B pipes on my 2K2. It's really just a bolt on and should take no special skills or tools. My car is new so all the nuts/bolts came right off. If you need particular information or pics let me know.

I made a post in 5 Generation with pics of the pipes before install and my dyno results.

breaker bar, 14 mm and 10 mm deep sockets, anti-sieze, ratchet set, swivel joints and a friend....
