ok.. CHEEZERS in the audio shizzzzz

ok i just put my kenwood head unit in ... its DOPE!!!! sounds amazing.. only one thing.

Im getting engine nosie though the speekers.. i have tryed grounding the head unit and all the other **** to "better ground" but nothing works.. then i relized that it does the same thing (light buzzing noise) when then ground wires are not even on.. ground.. WTF? how can the head work if there is no ground ...

Q-how do i ground my head unit and addapter i bought..

if you scew you head to the factory brackets, then it's grounding through those I believe.

well im doing somthing wrong...

because i have all my ground wires attached to one. and its just hanging.. not attached to anything!.. and im still getting the same sound.... how the F is this happening? i have no ground... it should not work at all... but its working, just with some bad engine nosie that goes away if you crank it...

Your radio IS still grounded, it is called a "floating ground" through the antenna. Your antenna is grounded therefore so is your radio. Also the noise does not go away when you turn it up, it is just covered by the loudness.

Try grounding the HU to different locations. The more of a direct metal contact-to-chasis the better. Are you using amps? Is the grounding problem coming from them and not the HU?

when i turn it up...

when i have it loud it is still there... getting coverd up thou, you cant really hear it unless you are sitting there waiting for the music to quiet down for a sec, the speakers have nothing to do with it right?... one person told me that the bose speakers are my problem and that i should buy a pair from them... i was like "fffff uuuuu" bose kicks ***...



bose for life... or untill i can afford a real system..LOLOLOL

I can tell you it is DEFINETLY not your Bose speakers, most likely it is a grounding problem, or could be you need a noise filter. For grounding problems try scraping the area you are mounting your ground screw with a metal brush or a screwdriver, make sure its clean then apply wire. Good luck.
