hey whats up everyone
some of you know that i have a 92 se that is currently undergoing some major engine mods in the N/A direction.
im just frustrated that i cant join in the conversation on the board.
due to my engine being in pieces i like to be able to share info and stories experiences etc.but i cant because i have no car d#@mn it.
well hopefully it will be done soon just waiting on the pistons and a few more things to come in so we can put it back together.
just wanted to get that off my chest.
i feel better now

hopefully ill get that camera so i can post pics of my car and 17x9 wheels big brake kit that some of you wanted to see.

peace

Re: Re: HAHAHA.........

yeah i know seems like alot of compression for the street.
seeing how a stock max se ve series comes with 10:5:1 forged pistons.these new pistons should be a big help for my HP goal.
what do you think

You would probably be around 190-210fwhp. Considering the weight of a VE 5spd is 3144lbs. I figure mid-low 14's NA and maybe mid-low 13's with a properly tuned N2O kit. BTW you might want to look into getting some custom cams ground with some stiffer valve springs. This way you would be able to make more toppend power since the engine can rev higher. I have seen NA (220hp stock) 300zx's with those mods, they gain about 25-35rwhp. I would say that the car should be good for a 14.1-14.6 assuming you get 2.0-2.2 60ft times.

My Car

I am currently in a state of disassembly when it comes to my car. I pulled the oil pan and found that I spun the #2 rod bearing. I may scotchbrite the crank and throw a new bearing in there, but if I do then its new car time for me; I'll trade it in for a 2001 SE. If that isn't going to help it be prepared for my monster VE30DE thats gonna kick your butt. 3rd Gen baby!!!!

With what he listed i think he'll be in the mid 2's to high 2's for hp. Which will easily get him into mid 13's.
Never know till it's all over and said and done though.
Good Luck...
