Poll and Opinions on Dash/ Gauges options

I am thinking about doing SOMETHING with my dash and/or gauges. The options:

Option 1- Chrome Gauge Rings like Syceferio (spelling) is selling.

Option 2- White-faced indiglo gauges with STOCK-LOOKING script/writing. I like the stock font, and want to keep the clean look that it has. I have seen aftermarket kits with this style of writing, so I do not want to go with the reverse-indiglo kits, unless I can find one with stock-looking writing on it. Also, I want BLUE lighting, if I go this route.

Option 3- Polished Gauge Facing that covers all of the black part around the gauges.

Option 4- SE Gauge cluster. These look great, but are often overpriced, plus there is always the legality issue if the mileage does not match up, and they are tough to find.

I also thought about multiple options, such as the indiglos and chrome rings, or the indiglos and polished trim, but I am afraid that this might be too much. I have a Pebble Beige GLE with TAN interior, so I cannot really go too flashy without looking cheap or cheesy.

I am inclined to go with just the chrome rings, just the indiglos, or those 2. The wood trim and aluminum might clash, and the price of SE clusters is prohibitive.

Any thoughts?

I used a C/F bezel and the rings. Looks pretty cool. I also have the woodgrain below the dash and it doesnt "clash" at all.
The cluster is further away from the wood so its a "seperate piece".......

So far, I have done nothing. I am still exploring my options. I want SE Gauges, but do not want to have to match up the milage. I would like to add CY gauge rings to SE gauges, but first I have to figure out what I want to do to get the gauges white in the first place. See my other thread here to see my current dilemma. I want somethign that looks stock. Most Reverse Indiglo kits look all spacey and showy. I want something plain, hence my desire for SE gauges. Unfortunately, at only 63K, most SEs have already passed my mileage, so I am faced with the prospect of new faces, or swappign SE faces. See the question about the import intelligence faces to see if any of you can shed light on my quandry. Thanks!
