Did any one ever find out about the

Did any one ever find out about the squealing/whiring noise a bunch of maximas were making a while back. My car still has the noise and it drives me crazy when im driving with the windows down. One night i was on a hot date and the girl told me "hey your car is squealing" thats not the important part but i hate that noise. its only when the car is moving even if its not in gear. as long as the car mover it makes the noise, and as the car moves faster the noise speeds up with it. I checked already if anything was scraping on the wheels but got nothing. I really want to kill that little noise so guys any good ideas are welcome. In advance thanks.

Have you pinpointed which wheel it's coming from? Jack it up, spin each wheel and see where the noise is coming from.

My car makes a squealing noise too.

It's been doing it ever since I installed my SuperCharger.

Is it squeaky sounding, like rubber rubbing on something?

Mine was doing this and it quit when I had my wheel bearing replaced and they changed the inner and outer rubber seals. I asked a mechanic friend about it before I had the wheel bearing done and he said if those seals are real dry they can cause a sqeaking sound. It wasn't caused by the bearing, just those seals. They were around $15/seal. Just a lot of work to change them.

Do you know how to change them. It sounds more like what youre talking about. If you know please post it so i can change them and finally get rid of that awful sound. And no i didnt make the girl squeal, i made her moan.

I didn't do the work.

I let my friend take care of it. The bearing had to pressed out and in so I just let him take care of it. I know how you feel though, that sound sucks. Sorry I can't be more help.
