Not for an oil change.

I think it's only bad when you want to get something repaired under warranty, so they'll blame the problem w/ the aftermarket stuff and so the warranty is void because of that.

if you still have a warranty I would not do it. Your giving them ammuntion for the future

If your warranty is over do it

go for it. you drive a 95. you most likely don't have a warranty anymore. even if you bought the car used from them, warranty is probably up

I've heard the "burden-of-proof" lays with them. They can't just indiscriminately walk away from a warranty obligation without giving a full & proper explanation to you first.

"full & proper explanation"??
Who decides what is considered Full & Proper. Most are full of $hit as it is and want to rip you off at the first opportunity...

Alright, I should've put "full & proper" in quotes in my original post as it would be subjective. On the other hand, the dealership would have to provide some justification for their position in declaring the mod voids the warranty on whatever has been affected. Like they've got to state cause/effect so that it makes some sense.
