Carbon fiber bezel & Chrome rings PICS

Here are a before & after pic of my dash cluster on my 96 GLE
Before..........

After with carbon fiber bezel off ebay and chrome gauge rings from SYCEFERIO.......

It looks so much better without the lense on it though........

Maybe this can be used as future refrence on doing this style mod......

Took about 45 mins to do. The hardest part was getting the clear plastic lense off. I was afraid of cracking it.
The rest was just peel & stick

Really wakes up the boring GLE/GXE dash without being too flashy.....

Getting that plastic lense off is definately the hardest part...I cracked mine when I was putting on my chrome bezel. Now, I just don't have one...oh well.

Is the gauge bezel made out of real carbon fiber?

Thanks!

Is your interior Black, Grey, oir Tan? Regardless, how does it look to have the CF trim on the gauges and wood trim everywhere else? I thought about something like this, but I was afraid that the patterns would look fugly together. After having done it, what are your impressions?

phenryiv1, my interior is tan leather. I too wondered about this. The factory woodgrain is quite dark itself so its not that bad.
As of yet I dont have the woodgrain for the instrument bezel (I did just order a factory Nissan woodgrain kit though) Im not sure if I will put the instrument bezel woodgrain on though for the clashing reason.
The cluster wouldnt be right next to the woodgrain so it might not look that bad........

I doubt it for $16.......looks pretty cool though. Almost has a 3-D effect to it

you need the white face guages to bring out the carbon fiber more so it is more noticeable...
