I called Stillen this morning, and Ryan in Sports Car section told me that 97-99 Clear/Red Tails are NOT available yet. Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on? Some people say they are, some say they are not. Can someone who TRULY knows tell me if in fact they are available?
Thanks
Alex J.

hmm..

maybe i'm not understanding your ques..
you want clear/red tails for a 97-99 and you want to buy them from stillen ?

you do know that you can make the tails you currently have on your 97-99 max clear/red without any damage to the tail ?

many people have done it ..

heat up the casing .. pull out the yellow part and your done.. okay i made it sound easy ...

ask doug if you need help he's done it alot ..

Thanks Ant

That's exactly what I was asking. On one of the posts I noticed that someone stated that APC was now making them for 97-99s. I didn't know this and APC reps were wondering what I was talking about (I am an authorized dealer in AZ for APC). So I asked to question to find out who was claiming this. As far as making my own, I would love to do so, but working approx. 11-13 hours a day doesn't leave much time to be working on my own ride. Thank you for the info, and I guess I will hit up Doug on this one.
Thanks again

Hey Alex, Courtesy Nissan sells the clear/red tails for 97-99 for $180.00. I was interested in a purchase because I don't know how to do the job myself. If you find out or buy them from Courtesy let me know . I would like to know which way you decided to go and how it turned out.

I know the 96 tails are one piece, but is there anyway to just rip out the amber part?
