Clicking sound coming from speakers when i press the brake
98 Max SE, none Bose System. This doesn't occur all the time, but once in a while when I depress the brake pedal I hear a clicking sound being transmitted through my speakers. Anyone have this problem?
I think I have heard of it...
did you ground somthing to your break lights? if not mabey a rock in your hubcap or something in your doors like broken glass....lol you never know, is it a thud click or a fast click...mabey it goes with the beat of your blinker when you are turning....who knows its intersting to me,, tell me when you find out
sound coming out of the speaker? That happened to me once but I don't know if it's the same problem. It was on my old car and the problem was that the alternator was going and the battery was getting weak. I have no idea why the speakers made a clicking noise everytime the brake was pressed on. After I changed the alternator the noise went away.

I am having the same problems. But it occurs at random times. I will just be driving along and a wierd sound will all of a sudden come out of the speakers. THe sound only lasts a split second, then goes away. It almost sounds like some connector it loose or something, but there are none loose. It has only happened a few times, but yes,h appens to me a lot. Anyone know what it could be.

I had that identical problem and I'm willing to bet you have the same thing. It's a loose wire. when it clicks now and then and it normally when you break, try to make the sound happen and see if its only during a break or start... the wire may be loose on the back of the head unit (like mine was) so tapping the speaker won't work. hope this helps
