When applying breaks squeal above 40mph then nothing.
I just changed the brakes about three months ago.

Some Nissan owners insist that only factory pads will be silent. However, I have had good results with name-brand aftermarket parts (Raybestos, etc.). Did you use the Blue Goo anti-squeal compound? If not, you could apply some now.

Mine sqeaked a lot when I got it. Here's what I've learned in the last 2 months of Maxima ownership:

1. Use factory pads with ALL the little insert things
2. Use that gooey brake squeak stop stuff - let it dry some before you put the pads back on
3. Get the hardest possible pad you can.

I hear they stopped making pads with asbestos in them and what we get to replace em is not good if you like quiet stops.

FWIW, I have done #2 and it went from 20% squeaking to like 2%. Good luck! I have heard that Maxs just squeak a lot
