5th Gen Wheels on a 3rd Gen...

I passed my smog, so now it's time to get busy with the mods

I was bidding on a BRAND NEW set of four 16x6.5"-5 Star Maxima wheels (without tires) from a 2000+ Maxima on eBay the other day, but I didn't win the auction. The seller turned around and contacted those of us who placed bids for these wheels, offering us the same package (he had 20 sets available) and told us to make him an offer. He gave me an excellent price for the wheels (plus shipping) but I haven't seen too many .org members with these wheels. I just bought tires for my stockers, so I won't be needing to rush out and get tires for them right away. I was looking to get a set of 17's, but this seems like too good of a deal to pass up.

Whaddya guys think? BTW - the ones that he's offering are silver finish, which would match my car perfectly. I wish I knew how to post pics of them because they do look nice.

If anyone else is interested in purchasing these kinds of wheels, I can contact the seller - he's from Boston, MA. Sounds like a good guy.

I bought the same wheels from the same person. Maximachad on e-bay, he's also a member of the org. Excellent service, great deal, and they make our cars look 20 times better. Definitely buy them.

They look quite nice, especially when the car is dropped, hehe. Check out pics on homepage.

Sounds good, looks great!!!

You guys just about have me sold on them.

Now I just have to make sure that I'll have the funds to make this deal happen. Thanks for the input guys!

BTW - I won't give the price that he gave me out, in case he can't sell more of these at the same price, but I wlli say that the total cost for all 4 wheels and shipping is under $350 - and he's shipping them nearly cross country for me (Boston - L.A.).

Okay

How about a 3rd Gen with 5th gen 5-spokes club...I like em. This is my old car. I'd show pics of my new car, but they got messed up in the wreck.

Well if he does have more at that price, tell him to email me, because mine got damaged in the wreck, and that cost is less than most of the quotes I've gotten to repair the ones I have.

I have the 2k Maxima 5 spokes. I can't put them on yet cause I don't have $ for the tires.
