my wheels came with blue centercaps, and i cant figure out how to get them off to paint them a different color. i have the 17x7.5 ASA KA3s, you can see em on www.tirerack.com

if anyone knows how to get these off id appreciate it. i dont know if im just stupid or if theres something specific i have to do. thanks

One of mine fell off. Don't ask me how? Luckly it happend in my driveway.
It had 3 or 4 plastic tabs and a thin round metal coil. Some how these hold it in place. My tabs were broken so I could not install it back on the right way. Ended up super glueing it. It has stayed on just fine.
I studied it to see how it originally went and it seemed like it just pops in there. My Firestone store installed them for me so they would know. Just go to a local tire shop and talk to one of the techs.
My center caps are yellow which I am not thrilled about. Let me know if painting them works good. I'd give it a try.
