BMW Headlights to help with blinding HID's?

Hey guys... I tried searching for this, but all I could find was stuff on the 3rd Gen..... but, I wanted to know if any BMW Headlights would fit on the 4th gen and still look good. If I got the E36's, would I have to modify the grille a lot to get it to fit? I do not want Angel Eyes.... but I just want a better housing for when I buy HID's (I don't want them to be blinding). The BMW headlights could be a solution, but if anyone can think of another solution to the blinding problem, that would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, you can definitely get BMW headlights and fabricate them to work on your car. But like you stated, the only problem with that is your existing grille will be obsolete. That is the only thing holding many of us back from doing the same thing. Sorry....

So what would I have to do to the BMW headlights in order for this to work? What would I have to do to the grille for this to work? Also, would getting these headlights help with the HID glare? Are the E36's 9004?

if u dont want them to be blinding couldnt u just aim them down a bit instead of spending all the money for something that only halfway fits?

Well, from what I have heard, aiming them down doesn't completely solve the problem.

Have you guys seen theblue's car??

He has Audi A6 Projector (I assume HID as well) headlamps on his 98 Maxima. Awesome solution to our 9004 woes.

It was a custom job, cost him like ~$2000 or something. Alot of work, too. I think you'd just be better off waiting for custommaxima's projector beams.
