I know the 97 maxima has a recall with its alternator, but does anyone know about any recalls for the 1995 maxima

is there any recall that the dealer would fix?
any problems that are known to occur?

Recalls-not that I can think of but there was a laundry list of service bulletins.

Highly doubt a dealer would do anything for you since the car is 7 years old. O2 sensors and fuel injectors going bad are two of the more common service bulletins. I also had a clutch replaced at 10,000 miles b/c it failed.

 

o2 outta be since mine went out AGAIN!!!!! THis aint the first time....more like the 6th time....this time I think im stuck paying for it though which peeves me off..

 

did the dealer pay for the replacement of the o2 sensor?
how many times did they cover it?

do they still cover your car for recalls even if you never bought it from a dealer?

Well I havent taken it back each time, I reset the ecu and things were fine for 10k miles.

This time they didnt but they did at 25k when it happened.
