Spark Plug install Q...
Spark Plug install Q...
How did all of you guys take out your spark plugs? I have been searching all over for a spark plug wrench and did not have any luck finding a store with 1. Is there another tool that can be used for this?...Thanx
Go to an auto parts store and get a Spark plug socket and a good long rachet extension (8-10"). Autozone, NAPA, Pepboys. Some hardware stores may have it too.
you can check www.maximadriver.com in their How2 section about TuneUps.

Deep in the ocean
I changed mine 3 weeks ago.
A pain...used 5 extensions
and it took 3 hours. The front 3 is OK to work with, but the real killers are the 3 back ones.
One of the washers got stuck and the whole thing turned into a very hard mess.
I used Autolite double platinum solution...4.99 each minus 1.00 off special.
Good luck and get that extension from auto store and refund it.

3 hours
mine takes 30 mins and on your next spark plug change.. please go back to NGK's.. the coppers are cheaper than your Autolite... the maxima engine loves NGK and might not be very forgiving down the road
