Hmmm, burning plastic smell can't be good :(

well heres the promblem: as you can see from the subject line i am constantly smelling burning plastic... or something along those lines. it is more noticeable sometimes then others... especialy when i start to beat on the car alittle. but here's the problem... i am selling my car in less then a week (back to the dealer) and i really don't wanna fix anything before i do so. does anyone know what this smell is? is it going to cost me alot of money? thanks.

check the bottom of your car, could be a plastic bag somewhere. my idiot friend likes to run over them, and one day he got it good.

i checked under my car yesterdayfor that, but i really couldn't tell... i thought i may have seen something to that effect, but then again my eyes could be playing tricks on me. it is almost like a sweet smelling/plastic smell. it is hard to discribe. my friend also saw a bit of smoke come out of my engine bay when i opened the hood. (i missed it) any ideas anyone?
