how hard/much does it cost to replace motor mounts?

well i have had the ACT clutch for a little over 1,000 miles now. i like to drive "spirited" ie chirping gears regularly. my 1-2 shift is the most violent thing ive ever felt and i feel bad doing it to my car. i have a feeling this is really hard on the motor mounts so im trying to be easier on the car but this brings me to my question. how much does it cost to have them replaced (minus parts) ? and those of you with PR motor mounts....do they vibrate really bad? if they do, i might just go with oem mounts.

Trevor

:EDIT: i just noticed that i live in a maxima down by the river.... LMAO

i can't disclose what agreement i have with Thomas.. actually my cousin is kinda iffy on his.. so i might end up sellign that set.. but contact thomas.. see how much he wants to charge.. i can tell you its cheaper than the $245 for PR mounts and i don't think its has that annoying idle problem like PR mounts

If you take a look at EricD's original thread he talks about it.

You need to support the engine via the oil pan. Remove the bolt that holds the engine to the mount (for both the front and rear). Then remove the center member that the mounts are connected to and away you go.

I plan on doing this myself in a couple of weeks. I will let you know more after that if you want.

I wonder if you could just make motor mount inserts. I know it's available for a lot of Hondas from Energy Suspension. They are inexpensive and really easy to install. Maybe it's something to consider.

McMaster-Carr has the polyurethante mix.
You can get it delivered for about $24.00. I checked installation
at a few places where I live and it ran between 210 and 225.
