I think I'm going to do a custom exhaust, this greddy is too loud and too old (looks crappy, doesn't fit quite right, etc. etc.) I want custom piping with resonators, but can't find a universal 2.5" muffler that I trust as far as sound levels. The WS is 2.25" so I don't want that. Anyone got any ideas.

PS - searching only told me about the normal run of the mills and about custom mandrel piping, no real recommendations on mufflers. Thanks!!

 

You are on the right track. Don't worry about the inlet of 2.25 any muffler shop can increase it to 2.5 or even 3.0. they can work magic.
Concentrate on Mandrel bend issues or searches. Remember, keep all your stock stuff after the install. You might come back to it after your "destiny"....Ypipe.
