Has any one tried putting a 5th gen centre console on a 4th gen, is it possible?

I prefer the newer maxima's and altima's centre console's as you can have them pop up giving you a nicer higher place to rest your arm on.

 

not sure if its possible.. because the dash is built differently.. when SteVTEC was shopping for a maxima.. he didn't want a 5th Gen because they were built diff because the dash comes in and you can't spread your legs.. i suggested a 4th Gen to him beause the dash is built diffrently
