What type of wax/polish to use on 96 Maxima finish
I was wondering what compounds/waxes any Maxima owners have tired to keep their clearcoat dealer finishes looking their best. I just got my 96 Max out of the body shop after a wreck. It has a showroom-like finish now on the hood and front fenders, but the top and trunk and sides are looking a bit more aged than the rest. Has anyone had good luck with any compounds which won't hurt the original factory finish? One person at the body shop just told me to try a "wax/cleaner" which will clean and wax the surface at the same time by utilizing a very fine grit. He didn't mention any specific brands.
Thanks for any suggestions.

I second the Maguiars products....da best.
Check out their website at http://www.maguiars.com (maybe meguiars.com, not sure of spelling)
They offer a free online 'perscription' for you based on your car, your location, and your desired outcome.
Check it out, it's pretty cool and looks better.
