Need Some Advice Please

I havent been on the forum in about 6 months, but I used to be a regular. I dont have that much time anymore now that I am in college.
But Anyway, to the questions
I have had my new wheels and lowering springs on my car ever since the 5,000 mile mark. My car currrently has close to 11,000 miles.
Recently, the car has felt a little different to me. It feels like the struts are going out. It doesnt react as quickly too hitting a bumping or what have you.
Do you think it is possible that my OEM struts are already going bad. I had heard that lowering springs put more pressure, but that is pretty quick.
And Secondly, did that Koni strut problem ever get fixed? I remember a while back, Koni had a big distribution or production problem on the struts for Maximas. If I am to replace my factory struts, i want the adjustable Konis, they are still the best right?
Thank You so much for your help and would just like to say that learning from you guys really helped me get better parts for my car and get better deals. My time was well spent because my car turned out pretty damn good, and it was because you guys on the BBS were not too good to help out a newcomer. Thanks

Yes it's entirely possible that your struts are getting soft. Once you put higher rate springs on, it starts to wear the stock shocks out much faster. The stock shocks are already not suited for the higher rate eibachs anyway. Good news is that it's probably only the fronts that are getting soft. I don't know about the Konis but they would be the shock of choice. For the price of those Konis, I would get the fronts done first and see how it is. Then do the backs if necessary. Or get a rear swaybar!
