OK i have 4 questions sorry i'm a Maxima newbie =( but please help me out if you can

1)I have a 97 Maxima GXE without a spoiler. The color is a bage color right now which i really do not like. I was wondering if anybody knew how much it costs to do a complete paint job on it for a Super Black (shiny black?) color.

2)I'm also wondering how much would used 4th Gen SE rims (the ones shaped like a star *) with tires cost approximately?

3)And also I saw an Ebay post of this company http://www.rimscoast2coast.com or something selling REPLICA factory SE rims for $450. I was wondering if its safe to buy them? What would the difference be between the REPLICA and factory rims?

4)Also i want to get a spoiler for my Maxima, one similar to the Maxima SE factory spoiler. Anybody know how much that would cost around? I also saw a post on Ebay selling a REPLICA factory spoiler for $79 , is that safe to buy? whats the difference between that spoiler and a factory SE one? Should i just forget both and get a spoiler from a different company that looks similar to the SE spoiler?

If you are looking for a professional paint job you are looking at around $3,000 at least.Then spending $600 for rims and spoiler is a lot of cash. If you just can't live with beige you would probably come out better to find a black max and trade. Good luck.

 

If you really don't like the color you should trade with someone for a different one. If you can live with it though you should just buy a spoiler and the rims. The replica rims should be o.k to buy but stay away from the spoiler. Look in the for sale forum here and you may find one for a good price. Will cost around $80 to get that painted to match. Hey thanx a lot everybody who responded, especially dmbmaxima88! Out of curiousity how come its bad to go with replica spoiler? but safe for replica rims? Thanx for the ebay POST BTW!! I'm probably just gonna live with beige, until i really have a lot of extra cash and am willing to spend it

 

It is O.K. to go with the replica wheels because wheels have to be manufactured to strict tolerances. They might have slight differences in the way they look but not unless you really look. As for the spoiler, anyone can make a spoiler and it might not right just right and will look stupid and it won't last as long. That guy on EBAY is a great price though. It's OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), and will paint it too. The OEM parts like that for your body always fit better. Happy Hunting
