I added my stillen intake back in july, and recently converted it over to a hybrid within the past several weeks, and poppped in new ngk plugs, but i never reset the ecu. well I did it today, and when i took the car out for a run, it felt a lot quicker! maybe its all in my head, but shouldnt the ecu adjust to the increased air from the intake and make more power with it?? either way, my max takes off a lot better, and second gear can really kick in!

 

If you feel like you have crazy low end power gains then it may be that you are still in diagnostic mode. I had that problem.

 

so that means the power is going to drop again??

 

Couldn't you just leave it in diagnostic mode, or will it hurt the car??
