don's vb installed

It was used, but it does it's job, 1-2 shift @ wot jerk the car forward, but not painfully, 2-3 shift is instant.

Install took around 3 hours, and that's from wheels jacked up till we were done. This isn't too hard of a job, just VERY tedious, and it is very easy to misplace a bolt. If you plan on doing this yourself, take your time.

I think the hardest step was putting the vb back in because it's heavy and you're holding it WHILE finding the holes they go into....

Like everyone says, it's a messy job but well worth it.

Thanks to Thomas (sx7r) for all his help.... couldn't have done it without him

For all you guys without the vb, it's worth every penny because it not only shifts instantly, car feels more powerful, tranny feels stronger, but best of all, it feels great having the steering wheel get yanked a little bit when it shifts

yup, updated....

another thing, i'm one of the advocates of not manually shifting and I learned why when I did the vb mod. Obviously this could of been due to several factors, but there was a crapload of metal that had been picked up by the magnet. Hopefully the vb helps reduce or even eliminate so much metal shavings
