Any Two Door Maximas In Existence?????

Hi, I'm going to be converting a car into an R33 Skyline, and was wondering if there are any 2 door maximas in existence out there, especially a 1993??? If anything they're super rare, but I dont know if there are any. If anyone knows of one, or where I could find one, please write me back and tell me who to contact, or if they even exist. Thanks Yall

Never heard of one. Do not exist, unless it is custom hack job. Get out the torch! Converting a car into a skyline? So what the hell does this have to do with a Maxima? Just get a 240sx, and start there.

Until I can Get a Real R33

I'm just making a conversion until MotoRex has brought enough R33's and skylines into the USA that they wont be so expensive. Right now, if I found a 3rd Gen Maxima 2 door, it'd be PERFECT for the conversion, they actually have alot of the same look as the skyline, but 99.999% are 4 doors, and I dont want that. I'd get a 240SX, but they're V4's, and thats just pathetic and really hard to get it up to 280hp, since they start at half, let alone I dont like Turbos, too much maintenance, and too much risk. Well, if you know of anyof them that are for sale or anything (2 door maxima's) POST THEM PLEASE, it'd be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for all the Attention Yall.
Peace-

Solomon

what are you planning on putting in there to make a R33 if you don't like turbos... a v8?? if you don't use turbos there's really not much you can do on a smaller sized engine.

yeah the 3rd gen does have some of the same quilities of the skyline. If u have the money and a good mechanic and body shop you can do this planned project. Research and tell us if ur still going to try this. If so I want pics 1st

Turbos

I like Turbos, just I've had enough friends F*** up their engines because they were screwing around too much, anyways, I cant really think of which car I would want to put it on. I started researching, and I figured out that, one of my favorite cars (Acura Legend) has nearly all the right measurements for an R33. Skyline/Legend (1993's)
length 185.6/192.5, height 53.6/53.5, width 68.8/71.3, and the engine of a 93 2 door coupe comes with a 230hp V6 Engine. I know what you're thinking "NOT NISSAN!" but hey, I cant find a better fit that Nissan made, and the 240SX really doesnt look all that much like one, neither would a 300ZX, and there aren't any Skyline's around, at least for cheap! What I really want is to make an actual car look as close as possible to an R33 Skyline. So if I could find a 1993 2 Door Maxima I'd be willing to spend up to 10k for one, otherwise, I'm sticking with the Legend. Acuras have honda motors, so they are dependable as they come. But, thats for all your info guys, it helps, keep writing me.

PS- I am already buying the lights and spoiler and emblems and other parts, and putting her in the shop in the late spring, so she'll be ready for pics and everything probably by next summer. And oh yes, if any of you know where I can get a fitted AWD Chassi, get me the # cause thats another thing I'm going to attempt on my WannaBe Skyline.

you're starting to crack me up...

1) skyline too expensive? try forking out the loot to convert a legend into one. for the money and hassle you might as well save for a skyline and get the look and the power...

2) that legend you speak of...230 horses big deal. it weighs 3600 lbs. it goes 0 to 60 in a whopping 7.3 seconds (probably w/ TCS) and runs a measly 15.7 1/4 mile time.

There are plenty of 4 door R34s... they are more popular in Japan than the GT-R model. Actually, ANY Skyline that isn't a GT model has 4 doors. The coupes are all GTRs, GTSs, GTSTs, GTFOURs, etc...

My screen saver is a Skyline one, and 10 out of the 13 Skylines on it have 4 doors and look surprisingly like a 3rd gen Maxima, with different headlights, taillights, curves leading to the *** end, grill, roofline... oh, hell. They don't look much like at all!!

I cant believed i missed this, this was too funny
why dont you just buy that legend and put a skyline kit on it like every other hondo guy does to his accord, or you could buy a civic or integra and put a siliva front end on it, i see a lot of those running around

Integra with Silvia Front end.. never saw that one? Skylines and Silvias (and of course the 300zx) are by far the sexiest Japanese sportscars of modern time in my opinion. Every time I see a late(est) model 240sx I remember how bad I WANT ONE. Has anyone seen the project silvis in Sport Compact Car? It's a 240, converted to silvia status (front clip, turbo blah blah ) SPRAY CAN flat black, big brakes, suspension is DONE..this thing looks mean with the flat stealth fighter style finish.
