About carbon fiber hoods

Do they only make black carbon fiber hoods?
Cause I think that black carbon fiber on a white car is ugly.
that's just my opinion.
Cause I stumbled across this website that does ur interior and they had liek silver carbon fiber and stuff. So I was wondering if they made silver carbon fiber hoods.

www.FiberImages.com can custom make Kevlar hoods which would be colored as you choose.

1. Only back hoods
2. It is ugly.
3. Probably not real CF but something made to look like it for cosmetics.

Is there anything stopping you from just painting your CF hood?

I agree that it looks ugly, especially on a non-black car. It's like you go to all the time and effort to make your car look good, and then there's this black hood that looks like it came from a junkyard.

I think it looks great on a black car, but unless it's black it is ugly. I guess u could paint it. I just want it since it is lighter than the regular hood.

Almost a good idea but way too much money! I'll keep it white.

i have a white max and i was thinking about a carbon fiber hood a while back....this is what i think.....yeah it does look like u might have a hood off another car (junkyard) if u have a white max or any light color for that fact, but think of it this way.....

if u have rims/lowered/exhaust/body kit or anyhting else exterior and someone sees ur car with all those mods i dont think they will assume that your hood is from a junk yard.....not to mention if u were at a car show with a light colored max and a CF hood ever from far away people would know that is not a junkyard hood and its most likely CF...... jsut my opinion...

I actually like c/f hoods on white car. I think it makes the car stand out. With c/f hoods, you can always put a light color layer on it to make it a different color.

I don't think it looks like it is a hood from a junkyard but I just think that it doesn't match the car. Unless you make everything you else do in black so that it goes together, like black decals or stripes. Something like that. Like there is this one 97 Prelude I see around and it is white and and has a black top and it is so ugly.
The only reason I want a CF is so my car is lighter. So maybe I'll get one I don't know yet.

A photoshop would be a little harder than putting rims on a car that doesn't have them. If you want, send me a picture of the front of your car and i'll do it.

hmm...I just bought a c/f hood, because it looks cool. I really didn't care that much on weight reduction

They do look cool, but i still would only spend the money for the weight reduction. If it weighed stock i wouldn't get one.
