Opened the hood today and saw a neatly coiled plug which I'm assuming is for the block heater. Didn't know I was getting that. Are they installing them standard or is it maybe a Canadian thing? ...or maybe I lucked out.

 

Haven't noticed that. Where exactly is it located? Can you take a pic?

 

First posting of a pic, hopefully I do it right? Should be just about dead centre tucked in. Sorry, had to use a flash as it is night now.

 

A little more time so I'll try and make it clearer. The red is the coiled up cable. It ends in a 3 prong plug protected by a plastic cab (circled in green).

 

Mine was shipped to Illinois and does not have that cord.
