The computer will do nothing, if you are tlaking about the sotck ECu. YOu could get an upgraded ECU that raises the rev limiter, but this will cost you about 4600, and most people find it to not be that helpful unless you're boosted (N02, Turbo, SuperCharger)

The Exhaust is about this:

Intake - +5hp, +5tq
Y-Pipe - +12hp, +12tq
Cat - +0-1hp, +2tq
Exhaust - +1-3hp, +7tq

Now If you are boosted, it's more like this:
Y-Pipe - +15hp, +20tq
Cat - +4hp, +4tq
Exhaust - +5hp, +19tq

All 3 together w/boost (Because they compliment each other) - +30hp

Of course, all of these are from my personal experiences. Results may vary.

For the most part, the stock Intake system can be worked on, as well as the Y-pipe. But the Cat-Back in the car is already pretty efficient on a Naturally Aspirated (non-boosted) Maxima, and the gains for a Cat-Back are minimal.

Oh, and the search function works wonders.

You should specify boost to supercharger because I'd like to see you put a new ypipe on a turbo maxima.. kinda like honda owners listing headers and a turbo..

True. You're right. Like i said, this is from MY experience. I only wish i had actually experienced a turbo...

How's that Turbo working for ya anyway? mtrai760 and I have spent long hours talking about how much we admire your ride.

With a good Intake, maybe, but not by itself.

Actually, from what I hear, the best all around intake out there is the FrankenCar Hybrid.

But there's some debate about that.

Would JWT intake with midpipe be considered a good intake?

I've seen a few dynos where y pipe alone gave 16hp and 20tq. VeeTec's dyno for instance. I dont think thats the norm. With just intake and Y pipe I was up 20hp and 25tq from stock, so these estimates are good, plus or minus a few hp.

In the 1/4? Probably good for .3-.5 seconds and 3-4mph.
