Kenwood vs. Pioneer
Kenwood vs. Pioneer
Could i get some feedback?
I am trying to replace my Bose HU in my 2000 Maxima. Someone broke in my car and shattered the LCD. I am contemplating on the Pioneer 8400MP or the Kenwood KDC-X859. Which would you recommend? Also, what would i need to make it work with my Bose system (speaker and sub)?
I need to decide ASAP. Thanks for your feedback.

//////\LPINE
//////\LPINE..........Hands down. Have had Kenwood and Pioneer. They have too many gadgets that you will never use. If you want flashy then get either of the two but if you want an all around great deck get an //////\LPINE. My .02

Sorry, I should probably expand on my experience, and why I say "ALPINE!!!"
I had 2 different kenwood decks in my civic, and since, I've had a pioneer (9200) in the maxima. After a while, a friend offered me his Alpine for 100 bucks, so I sold the 9200, spent the 100 bucks and threw the Alpine in. The retail price between the 9200 and the first alpine that I had was about 400 bucks, and Alpine out preformed the Pioneer (and definetly that sh*ty kenwood) like you would not believe! I've since had 3 other decks and one of their CVA series decks. Alpine hands down produces the best sound quality, the cleanest power, and is all around a very reliable HU. It's not the most flashy, but if that's what your interested in, go with a Clarion or the Pioneer. Good luck.
