20.889 time tooo ...

20.889 time tooo ...
I have a 95 se auto. last year I ran a 16.3 stock. this year I ran it 3 times. it starts from 20.889. then a 17.1 then to a 15.7.

the 15.7 I got that from NOT stage it and just letting it go at idle. I did all these mods and are not getting no where. I spin WAY to MUCH. My friend said when I did the 17.1 I spun so much that my tires smoked when I took off. and I spun at least 1000ft. I have the 15's stock se wheels with Michelin pilots. I think these tires are very over rated.

Try laying off the bong next time at the track...hurts your reaction times.

So, if you would have had a perfect reaction time of .5 then you would have been 1.472 seconds quicker in the 1/4 mile. Which works out to be a 14.24. Either B.S. or you have one hell of a Maxima. Btw - I thought you were posting about how slow your Maxima was!? Somethings fishy-

i just got my licence back and i dont race on the street. because POLICE have something againest me. my best time was the 15.7 and it was my 4th time at the track.

14's would be pretty quick for no mods. So how did your car spin the tires for 1000 feet?

Yeah - like they'd remember "this maxima that was there recently"

Wait - I would just have to say the 20 second maxima and they'd remember it right away.

Dude - you got a 20 second 1/4 time and you were at full throttle then your car is severely in need of.. well.. an engine I guess.

Or are you talking about one of them thar new-fangled 1/2 mile tracks?

And why does your ET and trap get better with worse reaction times? I am REAL confused at that.

I said I ran a 16.3 stock back in the day. I have mod's now. like pulley, intake, Gforce ECU, y pipe, 5th Gen. muffler, VB mod and new, knock sensor. I also put 93 octane gas with a 104 booster. and the hyper ground kit. I put everything on at once so don't ask me if this felt a difference and if that.

omg i cant remember laughing so hard in a while

thx for the laf man...onto a serious note...reaction time doesnt have anything to do with your e/t or trap speed....the timer only starts off when you pass the line (i.e. when you start going)...well at ALL normal tracks its like that....

i dont remember seeing your 60' times...what were they?

when I ran the 20.889 I rained. then it stopped. so they let people race. After I ran my car and 2 runs after that some guy hit the wall and it started to have few drops and had to shut it down. then i went back 2 weeks later when I ran the 15.7 just when I lined up to the tree. thinking it was a nice day, rain drops started to come down. By the time I exit the track, it was raining. i got mad nervous. every time i have been to the track at least one person hit the track.

Is there anyone that will agree with a max in the 13's with those mods? Especially an auto...
