Pics or Photoshop of Advan/AVS Model 5 on a 4G Max?

I'm looking to buy some rims soon, and I was considering the Advan Model 5.

Here's a link:

http://www.yrc.co.jp/tire/wheel/avs_m5.html

I was just wondering if anyone had a pic of this rim on a 4th gen Max, or if anyone could possibly photoshop it for me.

For the photoshoppers, I'd provide a pic of my car, but I don't have any.

I like this rim for its looks and the fact that it's only about 19 lbs for an 18" x 7.5" rim.

I've seen a knockoff of them on a 4th gen, can't remember who's car it was though. They are awesome looking rims though.

Those are exactly what I'm looking for. Awesome!!! They look mint! Are they as light as the Advan/AVS Model 5's? Part of the reason why I love those rims is because they are only 19 lbs for 18" x 7.5" rims. I think I may get these this spring when the snows come off. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get them and for how much?

the rims on ogredave's car are adr kasai i think. 18x8 weight 22.8 lbs according to wheelweights.net my rota battle's weigh a pound or two lighter then those. i got my battle's from henry@kmdracing.com he had battle's on sale in the group buy forum. i think he's out of battle's.

See, that's the thing, I don't want an 8" wide rim. And, I set a limit to weight. I want a rim 20 lbs or less.

I just checked up, the Rotas are the same weight as the Advans, 19 lbs. I'm just wondering what the price and quality differences are between the two.

What size tire are you running on those?

Buying those AVS model 5 in 18X7.5 would be a big mistake. First, the offset for the 18X7.5 that would come close to work on the maxima is 45mm which not optimal. In 18X8, you can get 38mm which is much better. Second, on 7.5" most tire manufatures do not recommand mounting 235/40/ZR18. Forget mounting beefy 245/40ZR18. The weight difference between the 7.5" wide and 8" wide is at the most 2 lbs. That's nothing. If you choose the right tire, you can make up those 2 lbs easy. Bridgestone Pole position SO3 in 235/40/ZR18 is about 3-4 lbs heavier than Dunlop SP9000 in the same size.

You might want to check on the pricing of those AVS model 5. Last time I checked, they were $$$$. They are more expensive not because they are better wheels than let's say Volks or SSR. They are just harder to get because Yokahama wheels do not have a US distributor. If you check the retail price in Japanese Yen, they actually cost less than Volks.

try 22lbs, I e-mailed Speedy wheels about the weight. still not bad for a 18 x 8 rims.
