Okay, I had a thought...Do you think it is possible to rewire our i30's to put the blinkers on the bumper and the corner light by the headlights, ala Maxima? I think it would look cleaner if the light next to the headlight went bright just for turning like the 95-96 Maxima, and the corners near the fogs housed the Blinkers. They would be clear already, just throw an orang bulb in there and viola!!

Has anybody tried this on an i30? Another posibility would be a wiring mod that would make the blinder illuminate only when it is on, not on all the time and flash when blinker is on...


Any thoughts????

 

I don't think the corner light by our headlight is bright enough for a turning light. It is also up higher. I just think it would not work for a real turning light.
You should be able to do it but I don't think it would be very functional.

 

Ya, I figured it wouldn't be too functional, but sure would look better, especially with Cefiro headlights...there were some on ebay that ended Saturday, I bid up to about $165 but didn't get them...anyway, I think that you could just run the whole wire run for each light to other spot. The harneses are the same. Don't know what would be in the bumper are that impede it though... Hmmm, gonna have to give this a try!

 

Yhea the corner bulb is a 194, pretty small. Go for it. I'll probably be wrong and it will look and work geat.
Looking to get cefiro headlights? I checked Ebay all last week for 99 jewel headlights, must have missed the cefiro.
I thought you were selling your ride anyway?
