Need help with my Hanabi HID KIT
I just got my HID kit. Got evertyhing to work, but I don't know what to do with the fuses and all the mouting stuff. Where did ya mount the started and ballast, and how did ya do it. Cause freddie said keep away from heat and water. And where do i put the fuses, i have 2 20's and a 40 fuse. Please help. I think its going to rain tomorrow. I just have my ballast and starter piled up in each corner.

I mounted mine by the metal bracket. It's the upper radiator support. You can use the 2 sided tape to attach the starter to the ballast. Then I mounted the ballast with the attached starter to the holes present in that upper radiator support using zip ties. I did this to both sides.

i pulled my headlight and corner housings off and mounted the ballests under them on a support beam. And the starters are mounted right next to the readiator on the back of the headlight assemblies. Both the ballest and starters are screwed in and not taped! And all harness's and wiring is black wire loomed too. As far as wiring i made my own quick connectort to make the entire system a real "plug n' play".

The fuse boxes (which are handily labeled) in the maxima are easy to get at. The one you want is right near the battery, on the side. My Hanabi kit came with the wrong size fuses, so I went to Pep Boys and got 25w fuses of the correct size, and replaced the 15w ones that were in there.

this is to help the stater do it's job.

The Hanabi Kit has many misc. parts you don't need. Don't feel like you need to use them all. BTW, the fuses in the engine bay are of the "mini" variety so more than likely, you'll have to get them from your auto parts shop.

Store it. You don't need it. Like 97GLES says, replace the stock 15A fuses for the headlights in the engine bay fuse box to 25A. If you don't want to change the fuses, then don't as many of us haven't had any problems with doing so.
