Brrrrr..... Winter Tires
Brrrrr..... Winter Tires
It snowed yesterday in NY, just a couple of inches though. God, it was depressing. Time to put some good snow tires on! In the past I've taken my prior cars (which I didn't care too much about) to Sam's Club to get something cheap and easy. I have no clue as to good snow tires -good roadgrip wet, dry, and icy conditions. What have you northernors used before that worked well for you?

tire although expensive.
Re: Re: Brrrrr..... Winter Tires
I just got 2 snow tires put on at sam's club a week ago i'm from ct and i'm just waiting for the snow 42bucks a piece not the best but they will do the job for me. I wasnt payin attention and 205/60/15's put on by accident. with the 65's in the rear seems to be workin good so far no problems. Brian
I use Nokian Hakkapleitta 1's. The are the best winter tires around. A little expensive, but worth it. I think I have seen them at http://www.etires.com. I live in northern NH, so I got hit with the same storm you did. This snow is gonna stay.
