PR CAI is in!!
i finally installed my place racing cold air intake today(bought it off meccanoble--thanx) and all i can say is the install was a hell of a longer process than two hours, took me about 5...but that was cuz i was having sum trouble with my rachet and didnt have sum extensions and sizes of sockets...and on top of all that, my drill burned out trying to cut the hole, so i had to use the dremel instead...my drill with a 3.5" hole saw wasnt getting thru the metal for sum reason, and eventually the drill overheated and started smoking so i said alright im going with the dremel...the dremel cut thru great and easily but i had to change my position like ten times to get the edges in a circle, and on top of that, change the cutting piece like 6 times cuz it kept shattering apart(typical dremel problem)
taking apart the stock stuff was a piece of cake except for the fuse box on the right side..installing the new CAI tubes was fairly simple, except for getting it to sit at a perfect angle so that the bottom sticks out the hole correctly, and i still dont think i got it perfect, but i dont think the filter(K&N)is hitting the wheel well, oh yea taking out the wheel well cover was a pain too
overall results and feedback: great intake, gives a nice pull and sounds incredible, no check engine light came up..i want it to be louder but i didnt get a great change to go WOT that much here locally 2nite...i wanted the CAI mainly for the deep sound it makes...the pull is real nice, lag from the stock airbox is gone, feels great ..i still have to give my ECU sum time to get used to it i guess
only one problem/question--at idle, it makes a little hissing/whistling sound from the wheelwell where the filter sits...wut might be the case there? or is that normal? will it go away ever? can the filter be at a bad angle or touching sumthing possibly?

yeah, took me about 2hr total to install a CAI in my gf's 93 altima 5sp. She loves the growl...pulls up next to ricers and revs on them...and proceeds to kill them (yeah, my gf's a racer too!) I've heard great comments like "what kinda swap you got in there?" "what mods?" and the best "what SC kit did you get?"
Anyways...the his...is just the air getting sucked in. It's normal.
